- Consider closely which piercing/tattoo you would like to have. Not all piercings are
appropriate for everyone.
-
Visit the studio first, so you can meet your piercer/tattooist in person and form yourself
an idea of how this guy works. This decreases the excitement a little on the day of the
placement.
-
Talk to your piercer/tattooist about the healing process and the aftercare. Ask him which
products you should have in advance.
-
Bring a friend, if you want to.
-
You can take along your favourite CD to listen to while the piercing/tattoo is being placed.
-
Some people start taking Echinacea (a herbal preparation to enhance the immune-system) a
week in advance.
-
Come to the studio in comfortable, loose clothing.
-
Make sure you get a good night rest the night before the placement.
-
Take a healthy, balanced meal 1 to 2 hours before your appointment.
-
NO drugs or alcohol before your appointment.
-
If you're under 16 and you wish to have a piercing, you HAVE to bring one of your parents
or your legal guardian. The IDs must be shown voluntarily. No ID...No piercing...No exceptions...No kidding!
